Visionary Empowerment Programme (VEP) was incorporated as a non-profit organization under the laws of the Republic of Kenya in 2006. The organization was formed with the purpose of empowering and motivating community for poverty alleviation. This function is pursued through facilitating provision of financial services and development of entrepreneur skills to communities in order to enhance their livelihood and improve quality of lives. VEP has performed micro lending nationwide. This lending has benefited over 100,000 families.
VEP headquarter is located in Thika town within the Nairobi’s metropolis and consist of offices and mobile field stations. The organization process involves marketing and promotion of services/components and construction of biogas plants. VEP has 17960 members belonging to over 750 women groups and over 3000 household clients on biogas project
