Mr. David Githua is a Consultant in Occupational Health and Safety. He has also been providing consultancy and training to various industrial enterprises in implementation of TQM concepts, ISO 9000 family of standards. Mr. Nderitu has undergone training in Quality Management systems at SGS Kenya Mr. Nderitu is consulting for various sectors including tea industry, horticulture, construction, energy and service industry. In construction he is currently consulting for construction of three mega godowns belonging to KTDA which is funded by IFC and Ruiru sewerage construction funded by the World Bank.
The consultant holds a Bsc (Hons) from KenyattaUniversity and MSc on Occupational Health and Safety from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. He is a NEMA registered lead expert and a also registered with Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety Services as a safety Advisor (Registration No. OSH/ ADV 038 and a Fire Safety auditor No OSH/FSA 068).He has 16 years experience with horticultural industry, construction, energy and tea industry on matter of occupational safety and health.
The consultant has good knowledge of conducting analyses on Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH analysis) and field based Kenya Federation of Employer’s Standards, Fair Trade, EUREPGAP Codes of practice and the occupational national legislation and ILO occupational conventions.
